Come to the Guelph Enabling Garden to participate in a workshop inspired by "Morning Altars" by Day Schildkret to explore grief, art and nature. For adults. Registration opens July 1, 2025 at 9 a.m.
This workshop is inspired by a beautiful book "Morning Altars" by Day Schildkret that explores grief, art and nature. Registered Horticultural Therapist, Heidi Torreiter, will guide participants through Day Schildkret's 7-step process of mindfully creating a meaningful design with found nature items in the beautiful Guelph Enabling Garden, which is an accessible multi-use garden meant for everyone.
Please bring: Chairs are limited - if you are able to, please bring a blanket or chair for sitting.
Inclement weather: In the case of inclement weather, this program will be rescheduled.
Location: Riverside Park, 689 Woolwich St N, Guelph, ON, N1H 3Y8, North of Speedvale Avenue past the Evergreen Seniors Center – Enter via Woolwich St.
