Newcomers to Canada: Job Searching & Building Resumes

Join us for this two-part workshop series to learn effective job search techniques and how to create targeted resumes when applying for jobs in Canada. Please register. For adults.

This workshop series is intended for newcomers who are job searching or starting their career journey.

A working knowledge of English is recommended for this workshop series. 

Starling Community Services (formerly Lutherwood) will present on the following during the workshop:

• In Part One on Saturday May 31st: Learn effective job search techniques and find meaningful opportunities by exploring the "hidden" job market.
• In Part Two on Saturday June 28th: Learn how to create resumes targeted to specific jobs and industries.
