Discover a new local author in this monthly storytime series. For families. Please register.
Each month we will feature a local children's author or illustrator for a special storytime and craft. This month, author Sarah Uren will be presenting their activity book, "Windy Acres Workshop: Art, Nature & Literature Edition" followed by a craft featured in the book.
Book description:
Within these pages are 50 activities, 100 extension ideas and 100+ full-colour photographs to encourage learning about art, nature and literature. Whether you implement these pages into your classroom, homeschool, studio, with your children or the families you work alongside, all of these projects are tried and true from our home workshop, kid-tested and approved with Mother Nature in mind. Definitely not your average art book.
