Join us and Dr. Scott Gallimore, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, for An Archaeology of Crisis: Looking for Problems before the Disaster Strikes. Archaeologists often assume societies facing a disaster event were operating normally up to the destruction. This presentation explores evidence for communities already facing problems that impacted their ability to cope with and address these disaster events.
