Open Minds: The Future is Now with Author David Sax

Do you ever feel that your senses are being overwhelmed by the digital world? Join David Sax as he discusses his book, "The Future is Analog: How to Create a More Human World." Please register. Adult.

If you cannot compare the happiness of flinging your front door open to welcome some friends for beverages … to the drudgery of the Zoom cocktail party, you want to hear David Sax. In his newest book "The Future is Analog: How to Create a More Human World", he challenges us all to refute the idea that the word “innovative” automatically equals “digital”.

The Friends of the Guelph Public Library are thrilled to welcome David as part of this year’s Fall Open Minds Speaker Series: The Future is Now. Bring your own curiosity to hear this great storyteller in person!

David Sax is a writer possessed by a curious brain. His past books have included "Save the Deli", about delis, "The Tastemakers", about those food wizards who create the next taste trends, and "The Revenge of Analog: Real things and Why they Matter".

• Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library and should be used upon entry to this program.
