Discover a new local author in this monthly storytime series. For families. Please register.
Each month we will feature a local children's author or illustrator for a special storytime and craft. This month author Bailey Kennedy will be reading their two picture books, "Violet and George's Colourful Day" and "Violet and George's Bedtime Adventure".
Book series description:
Do you love fun and whimsical classics like Robert Munsch and Dr. Seuss? If so, you will love the Adventures of Violet and George! Violet and George stories are a series of rhyming picture books targeted at children ages three (3) to five (5). Each story has its own lesson as experienced by a pair of siblings, Violet and George. Written in a rhyming limerick pattern, they can also be seen as a great introduction to poetry for young readers. Rhyme and song are helpful ways to help kids remember important things and it's very important for young readers to have fun while they are reading!
