The Opening Opportunities Financial Wellness Workshop Series is offered over three (3) sessions and is designed to support women and gender diverse people in building financial confidence and independence and new skills. Through open conversation, practical tools, and hands-on learning, participants will better understand their money, build a household budget, and plan for their financial future. This series creates a supportive space to share experiences, build skills, and feel empowered to make informed financial decisions that support personal goals and long-term independence.
The workshop series includes three (3) sessions:
Financial Basics: Learn how to track your income and expenses so you can understand where your money is going. Explore strategies for making mindful choices to strengthen your financial foundation.
Household Budgeting: Gain practical skills to create a budget that works for your life and goals. Learn how to set priorities, make thoughtful decisions about money, and adapt your budget as circumstances change.
Exploring Financial Independence: Discover how to set meaningful financial goals and explore strategies for long-term financial planning, including entrepreneurship, to build independence and security.
