Do you have a passion for writing, art or world-building? Come travel through the vast expanse of space in search of inspiration - Black holes, constellations, comets and exoplanets! Fun prompts and brainstorming exercises will help you create your next story, play, D&D campaign or work of art. This workshop is perfect for youth who want to express themselves, be creative and meet others in an encouraging and welcoming environment. Everyone is welcome. No writing experience is required.
About the Instructor: Deanna Kruger is a Guelph-based award-winning playwright. Her plays include The Sword-Bearers (Nightwood’s Groundswell Festival), Janet and Louise (Here for Now Theatre Company), Forty-Seven (Here For Now) and Paul and Petandra (Pencil Kit Productions). The Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and Guelph Arts Council have all supported her work. She holds an MA in English Literature from the University of Guelph.
