Take part in a workshop in the Main Library Program Room on how to grow native plants from seed. For families. No registration required.
Join us for this workshop on growing native plants from seeds, part of Guelph Native Plant Seedy Saturday. Unlike garden perennials, tropical garden annuals or vegetables, most Ontario native plant seeds require special treatment before germination. In this workshop you will learn about the different pre-sowing treatments and how to identify which treatment each species needs. You will also learn how to sow seeds and how to grow plants on after germination. A summary handout will be available.
By participating in this program, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to Guelph Public Library's Code of Conduct.
