Learn more about your Scottish ancestors by using a variety of resources available at the library. For adults. Please register.

Do you have Scottish ancestors? Have you been wondering how you can learn more about them?

Join this session with Wellington County Branch Ontario Ancestors to learn the basics of starting your research journey. Topics include tracing your family through civil registrations, census records, parish and church records, wills and property records, maps, newspapers as well as occupational and military records. Websites such as Scotland's People and FamilySearch.org will be discussed and resources at the Guelph Public Library and the University of Guelph will be highlighted.

Health and Safety Protocols:

• Do not attend this program if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are feeling unwell.
• Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library and should be used upon entry to this program.
