Register for free one-on-one tutoring to develop mathematic and reading skills developed with Frontier College and the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition. Grades 4 to 8. Registration is required.
Guelph Public Library is offering a free in-person tutoring program in partnership with Frontier College and the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition. Tutoring sessions are geared towards students from grades 4 to 8 and focus on developing skills in Mathematics and Reading through tutoring. This program runs on Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 6:30pm in-person at the Main Library (100 Norfolk Street).
The Spring series consists of 7 sessions from May 4 to June 15.
Attendees may register for all or a select number of sessions in a series.
Frontier College
Frontier College is a national charitable literacy organization. They believe literacy is a right. They work with volunteers and community partners to give people the skills and confidence they need to reach their potential and contribute to society.
Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition (GNSC)
The Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition is a network of neighbourhood groups, sponsoring agencies and program partners. These three groups work together to share resources, ideas, and answer questions as well as help each other work towards a strong neighbourhood group coalition in Guelph.
