Sharon Findlay, Teresa Russo and Sandra Parmegiani will introduce the project and its relevance for Guelph and the wider Italian community. Adults. Please register.
The Italian Heritage Project is an initiative born at the University of Guelph, which was initially inspired by the work of the Italian Canadian Archives Project (ICAP). The Italian Heritage Project aims at collecting and preserving the narratives and artifacts of Italian immigrants to Canada and the Guelph-Wellington area. It also involves student participation at the University of Guelph through Italian Heritage courses that investigate the histories, legacies and challenges that illustrate Italian migration. The Italian Heritage Project benefits greatly from the collaboration of members of the wider community, thanks to their support and generous involvement.
