In partnership with the 2Rivers Festival, join us for a walking tour of Guelph bridges. Adults. Registration is required.
Guelph residents have created ways to cross the mighty Speed River for more than 190 years. On this walk, you will marvel at the soaring beauty of the Heffernan Bridge, the inventive structure of the Covered Bridge, and the solid limestone construction of the Gow Bridge. What's under our feet? Why were the bridges built? Walk with Susan Ratcliffe to hear the stories. Please follow Covid-19 safety protocols, please wear a mask during the tour and keep 6 feet apart from participants.
Due to uncertainty around COVID-19, 2Rivers Festival and Guelph Public Library are prepared to offer this program online if needed.
Event info will be updated accordingly. Please check back closer to the event date.
Tour starts at the Guelph Youth Music Centre, 75 Cardigan Street, Guelph, ON, N1H 3Z7. Please register at the 2Rivers Festival event page.
