Do you have a passion for writing? Curious about playwriting or theatre? Join us for this three-part online workshop for youth, ages 14 to 17, led by playwright Deanna Kruger. Please register.
Together, we'll explore different aspects of playwriting: world-building, character development, dialogue, and plot. Inspiring writing prompts and fun brainstorming exercises will spark your imagination. Participants can also submit their writing for individual feedback from the instructor. This workshop is perfect for youth who want to express themselves, be creative, and meet others in an encouraging and welcoming environment. Everyone is welcome. No theatre or writing experience is required. This program is made possible through the Guelph Arts Council Youth Opportunities Award.
