Dream S.T.E.A.M. is a 12 week leadership and empowerment program for girls and non-binary youth in grades 6 to 8 that explores all things S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) in a creative and collaborative way. Each week we will dig into a new theme. We will explore, create and ask questions. Registration is required for all dates. Grades 6 to 8.
This program is being co-led by the Guelph Public Library and Sarah Stubbs, the founder of Life Gears Academy.
Sarah Stubbs is the founder of Life Gears Academy which works to develop life skills for youth through the sciences. She completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph with a focus in Mathematics, Physics and Studio Arts and later completed a Bachelor of Education at Queen's University with the qualifications to teach Intermediate Math and Visual Arts. She has been running STEM programs in Guelph for 6 years and has run many programs with a focus on empowering young women.
