Kyle Smith from the Wellington Museum takes a glimpse into the lives and activities of the people who lived, worked and often died at the Museum.
Kyle Smith, Activity Programmer at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, provides a glimpse into the lives and activities of the people who lived, worked and often died at the Museum. Built in 1877 and originally called the "Poor House," the building is now a National Historic Site and tribute to the often forgotten people who called it home.
This presentation will consist of original photography from when the Poorhouse was in operation, stories about the people who lived within its walls and original artifacts from the Museum's Poor House Collection.
