Have you been wanting to learn more about your family history? Interested in starting to build your family tree but don't know where to start? Have you started to research your tree but hit a brick wall and aren’t sure how to break through it?
Did you know that you can access Ancestry Library Edition at all Guelph Public Library and Wellington County Library branches without a subscription and with no fees? This gives you access to billions of records such as census data, city directories, cemeteries, wills, immigration information, court records, military information, family histories, and birth, marriage, and death documents. Join us for a hands-on computer demonstration and workshop on getting started with Ancestry. Bring your laptop or tablet and your questions on navigating Ancestry (library edition or the subscription-based edition), and we will help with search tips and shortcuts to assist you in discovering your family roots.
By participating in this program, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to Guelph Public Library's Code of Conduct.
