Join the Wellington County Branch Ontario Ancestors as they guide you through the essential first steps in researching your family history. Discover how to get started, gather family stories, identify the records you need and effectively document your findings. The workshop includes a demonstration of Ancestry Library Edition, which offers access to billions of records and is available for free in all County and Guelph libraries—no subscription required. Additionally, as the Guelph Public Library is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library, a brief overview of the valuable resources available through FamilySearch will be provided.
