Do you have a passion for writing? Looking for creative inspiration or motivation? Join us for a three-part writing workshop led by playwright Deanna Kruger. For adults. Please register.
Each session of this three-part writing workshop will include conversations about the fundamentals of writing, as well as practical exercises and prompts designed to help boost your creativity. Whether you’re a seasoned author or new to the craft, Writing Boost is for anyone who wants to be inspired and express themselves. Skills can be applied to whatever genre interests you—fiction, poetry, plays or memoir.
About the Instructor: Deanna Kruger is a Guelph-based award-winning playwright. Her plays include "The Sword-Bearers" (Nightwood’s Groundswell Festival), "Janet and Louise" (Here for Now Theatre Company), "Forty-Seven" (Here For Now) and "Paul and Petandra" (Pencil Kit Productions). The Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and Guelph Arts Council have all supported her work. She earned an MA in English Literature from the University of Guelph.
