Library Tour for Newcomers

Are you new to Canada or Guelph? Join us for a one hour tour of the Main Library (100 Norfolk Street). For adults. Registration is not required.

The tour is open to all, but is aimed at newcomers. Meet us in the Board Room on the second floor at the Main Library (100 Norfolk Street).

This event is part of Guelph-Wellington's Welcoming Week 2024 (September 13 to 22).  

Learn about everything you can do at the library:

• Borrow books, movies and music
• Online resources for tutoring or language learning
• Computers, scanning and printing
• Check out materials in different languages
• Programs for children, families and adults
• Library cards are free to residents of Guelph. Bring ID and proof of address in order to get your free library card!

Health and Safety Protocols:

• Do not attend this program if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are feeling unwell.
  Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library and should be used upon entry to this program.
