Drop by the Main Library to watch the Mary Ellen Cann School of Highland Dance dancers perform and join in to learn a fling! For families. No registration required.

Join us to watch dancers from the Mary Ellen Cann School of Highland Dance perform. Learn about the history behind the Scottish dances and join in to learn a fling.

Health and Safety Protocols:

  • Do not attend this program if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are feeling unwell.
  • Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library and should be used upon entry to this program.

Sensory-Friendly Program Kits are available for your child to use during this program with items that are good for all, but essential for some. If your child would benefit from the use of noise cancelling headphones, access to fidget gadgets, or a weighted lap pad to enjoy this program, please feel free to use these materials found in the sensory-friendly kits. After the program, we ask that these items be returned for others to use. A library card is not required to use these items.
