We are thrilled to announce that the Friends of the Guelph Public Library will be hosting their book sale this year from September 19 to 22, 2024.
The sale will be held at a new location this year at Bamco: 440 Elmira Road North, Guelph.
Who are the Friends of the Guelph Public Library?
- They are an arms-length group of community volunteers who believe that the Guelph Public Library is a necessary and vital community institution.
- They support the goals of the Library.
- They volunteer to make a great library even better.
- They promote the Library in the community through special programs, fundraising and advocacy.
Their main fundraiser is the annual book sale. To date the book sale has raised $1 million to assist the library with current programming and to be available for use when a new Central library is built.
