Off to Kindergarten

Join us to play together, practice social skills, problem solve and to develop friendships. For children who are headed into kindergarten in September 2024. Registration opens April 1, 2024 at 9 a.m.

Open to children who are going to kindergarten in September 2024. In the first 30 minutes the children will be invited to join a circle time full of literacy and numeracy activities, practicing independent skills and learning fun ways to make friends and solve problems. The remaining 30 minutes they will be engaging in free play with each other.

For our name writing activity, please take care to spell your child's name correctly when registering. 

To benefit the most from this program, please attend all dates in this series. 

Register only one person to secure a spot. If you have more than one child attending kindergarten in September 2024, they can attend under one registration. Siblings are welcome, but caregivers are responsible for monitoring as some activities and toys may not be suitable for them.

Health and Safety Protocols:

• Do not attend this program if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are feeling unwell.
• Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library and should be used upon entry to this program.
