Have you ever wondered how plants stand up? How roots stay in the ground? Why flowers and fruits are so colourful? Have you ever eaten a leaf, a flower or a seed? The answers may surprise you! Explore the science of plant structures, and how they help us stay strong and healthy! Includes hands on displays and a craft plus take a seedling home.

If your child would benefit from the use of noise cancelling headphones, access to fidget gadgets, or a weighted lap pad to enjoy this program, please feel free to use these materials found in the sensory-friendly kits. After the program, we ask that these items be returned for others to use. A library card is not required to use these items.
