Jay Wilson brings one of his walking tours indoors with the Story of William Harvey. Join in a virtual walking tour just in time for Halloween.
Using pictures, sound effects and storytelling, this tour provides all the thrills and excitement without having to worry about the weather. Rather than go “live and on location,” we bring the story indoors. Part lecture, part storytelling, this is a gripping yarn from Guelph’s past - The Unfortunate Man 1889.
We’ll see where William Harvey worked, The World Publishing Company; where William was the Sunday School superintendent, St George’s Church; Bond’s Hardware Store, where William bought the pistol; and finally, The Wellington County Courthouse where William Harvey was hanged!
Please note: this event is not for children.
